Kwetu Spa & Wellness

Kwetu Spa is our wellness facility, and it serves both our resident guests and walk-in clients from Mbale and the surrounding area. Alongside it sit our outdoor swimming pool, the landscaped gardens and the courtyard.

In short. Massage, facial treatments and body therapies at Kwetu Spa, open to residents and walk-ins, with advance booking recommended. An outdoor pool and gardens for the rest of the day. We also run steam and sauna sessions.

Treatments

We offer relaxation massage, aromatherapy-style treatments and deeper tissue work, along with facial treatments and body therapies. Herbal tea, infused water and light refreshments come with the treatment.

Book ahead if you can, particularly in busy travel and conference periods. You can arrange treatments before you arrive or through our reception. Full detail on our spa page.

After the Mountain

We built a lot of the spa offering around recovery after Mount Elgon trekking, Wanale hikes and Sipi Falls activities. If you are coming off several days on the mountain, book the treatment when you book the room — see post-hike recovery in Mbale.

For Conference Groups and Executives

We can arrange short relaxation sessions for conference groups, and individual treatments for delegates and executives. Spa treatments also build into our romantic, honeymoon and anniversary stays — see the romantic Elgon weekend.

Pool and Gardens

Our outdoor swimming pool, landscaped gardens, mature trees and courtyard areas make up the rest of the leisure side of the property, with poolside snacks and drinks. See our swimming pool.

Our treatment menu, durations and prices, and pool opening hours and day-use arrangements, change with the season and with what else is booked on the property, so we confirm them when you enquire rather than printing a list that goes out of date.
